Using these specifications

Match the charger to the battery.

This three-phase model supports the battery voltages listed in its output table: 24 V / 36 V / 48 V. Output current changes with battery voltage. We select the 48 V or 80 V model range and charging profiles around the batteries in your fleet.

Is the maximum current the charging current?

The table gives the charger’s published maximum output at each voltage. The planned current can be lower to suit the battery’s approved limits, charging profile or site supply. The selector shows those separately.

What changes for an outdoor installation?

The model ratings describe the charger. An outdoor build also needs the appropriate enclosure, mounting, connections and site review.

What should I check before choosing?

Record the battery voltage, chemistry, capacity, permitted charging current and connector. Check the available AC supply and plug. For lithium, include the battery’s BMS and communication requirements.

Typical use

SFX48-18 is a 18 kW option for industrial fleet charging, with up to 360 A at 48 V from 3-phase 400 V AC supply. Match the battery voltage to the full output table above; the battery-approved planned current may be lower than the hardware maximum.
